Life is beautiful, what are you doing to leave your mark?! As a professional makeup artist and owner of Taryn Passifione Makeup, I find my clients are wanting to know what I think about all things beauty, family, life, and style. I figure if they have a question, it is likely that more people must have the same one. By creating this blog, I am hoping to reach more people with my personal opinion and answers on a larger scale.
I am happily married with two little men (Giovanni, 10 and Dominic, 7). Being a mom has left so many beauty marks on my heart. Some happy, some sad, and some pure amazing. I never knew I could experience a love like I did after becoming a mom. My boys keep me on my toes and remind me that it's always a good idea to have coffee, concealer and wine in stock! I have also found that it's important to take a little "me" time every now and then. I truly believe in my heart of hearts that I married my soulmate 11 years ago and that we share a love that is rare.
I have been a makeup artist since 2007. I started out at a boutique and spa where I was an esthetician and makeup artist. While I was there, I started at MAC in Nordstrom Roseville and found my true passion-makeup artistry. I spent 6 wonderful years there learning from some amazing artists. They have extensive training that I am so grateful to have been apart of. While at Nordstrom, I was often asked to do makeup for weddings. After my youngest son was born, I decided to take a leap of faith and step out on my own. I have been so blessed with being referred to several brides from previous clients and found my bookings filled up quickly.
I also work with local photographers and will often do makeup for their clients before portrait sessions (family, maternity, seniors, boudoir, etc.). If you would like to see some of my work, feel free to visit my website: tpassifione.squarespace.com
