Mar 19 Allergy Safe - Brands We Turn To

I never thought there would come a time that I didn’t jump at the chance to head to Target (kid free because my husband is home) to stroll the aisles. No Way! Not right now with the pandemic of Coronavirus. Keep me home, keep my loved ones safe, and please let this all end soon!

Whether you shop at Target, Safeway, Raley’s or your local market, when the time comes to restock food you are going to find that a lot of what you are used to buying is not available. My oldest son has severe food allergies, so brands are a big deal to us. We can’t always just choose the next best option sitting next to the sold out item. There might be only one brand on the entire shelf that is made in a facility free of his allergens.

Thankfully we live in a world that online shopping is available to us. Planning is going to be a bigger deal than ever before. Especially, families with food restrictions. I wanted to share a few brands that we love and turn to often for snacks and meals. I also wanted to share some blogs that I find helpful to find safe recipes that I can make with the food I usually have on hand.

Let’s support these companies in times like these, so that they are there when everything goes back to “normal”. Please note that some are running a little behind on orders due to high demand, so don’t wait too long to purchase.
